Hazen Sise: b. Montréal, Québec, 1906; d. Montréal, Québec, 1974. Hazen Sise studied architecture at both McGill University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In the 1930s, Sise went to London, England, and Paris, France, where he was involved with the Modern Architectural Research (MARS) Group (a group of British architects active between 1933 and 1957) and took part in many international conferences on Modern architecture.
